How to locate us

Church of St Patrick, Slane

The village of Slane is built on the junction of the N2 Dublin to Monaghan road and the N51 Drogheda to Navan.
From Dublin direction:
Travelling North on the N2, you cross over Slane Bridge and travel uphill. Go straight at traffic lights for approx 200 metres; St Patrick's Church is on your right.
From Monaghan direction:
Travelling South on the N2, you enter Slane and pass petrol filling station on your left; following main road for a further 500 metres, St Patrick's Church is on your left.
From Navan direction:
Travelling East on the N51, you pass Slane Castle on the right and enter Slane. Follow main road into village to traffic lights; take left filter road onto N2, following main road for a further 200 metres, St Patrick's Church is on your right.
From Drogheda direction:
Travelling West on the N51, you enter Slane travelling downhill. At traffic lights turn right onto N2, following main road for a further 200 metres; St Patrick's Church is on your right.

Church of the Assumption, Monknewtown

From Slane:
From traffic lights at village centre, take Drogheda road. Head east on Main St, past Slane Credit Union. Continue on N51 for approx 5 km. Take left turn at junction beside thatched pub. Continue on for approx 400 metres, and arrive at church.
From Drogheda direction:
Travelling West on N51, cross small stone bridge over River Mattock. Take right turn at junction beside thatched pub. Continue on for approx 400 metres, and arrive at church.
